Bremer Aufbau Bank Special Award

Best German Language Film

The Filmfest Bremen is taking place for the eighth time this year. As BAB – the development bank for Bremen and Bremerhaven, we are very pleased to support the new competition “Best German Language Film”. The Filmfest offers above all young filmmakers in the state of Bremen the opportunity to show their extraordinary and special films. With the Starthaus Bremen & Bremerhaven as a central contact point, we support founders, young companies and people interested in founding a company, also from the film industry, in their founding and start-up processes and are proud to be able to contribute to making Bremen more visible as a film city and production location. We wish Filmfest Bremen and all guests five exciting festival days!

For the first time Filmfest Bremen will award a special prize. All selected German-language feature films from the four official competitions are nominated for the cross-section prize. Seven feature films and three documentaries can hope for the following prize money.
