Viele Stärken, ein Land

Bremen is much more than a fairy tale. Bremen is real. Tell us your very personal story about Bremen – far from the usual classics. It should be creative, original and above all authentic. In a maximum of two minutes.

Under the motto ‘Many skills, one community’, WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH is calling for entries to the WFB Short Film Competition 2026. No matter whether you are an amateur or an expert, no matter whether you produce your film idea with a smartphone or with professional camera equipment – everyone is welcome! The films must not be longer than two minutes and should show your love for Bremen or Bremerhaven (or even both) and their/our extraordinary skills.
The more personal and original, the better!

‘Many skills, one community’ – what does this campaign of the Hanseatic city actually stand for? Quite simply: Bremen is much more than the fairytale tourism classics surrounding the Town Musicians, Market Square, Schnoor and co. For Bremen residents, life takes place in the many colourful districts, in very personal favourite places. Real stories are written there. And we want to bring them on the big screen! Fictional or documentary, funny or sad, loud or quiet – just as you like it.
But all told in a maximum of two minutes.

The best films will be nominated by a jury of Bremen personalities.

At the same time, voting for an audience award will be possible online during a limited term in March, as well as at the on-site screening.
