Ali
Poddopur is a village of lily pickers where women’s voices are forbidden. Ali (15) lives with his mother, Salma, who carefully hides a secret on his throat. When a singing competition offers a chance to move beyond the mountains, Salma hopes, but Ali refuses to take part, keeping his secret safe.
