BUDAPEST SILO
József has been working in Budapest’s largest grain silo, which is still in operation, for more than 30 years. He lives in a container right next to his workplace, where trucks and trains rumble past his window. When he is lowered into the ten-storey deep silos to clean them, he looks like a scuba diver at work. In fascinating images, the documentary shows a symbiosis between man and inhospitable industry.
