DURRANI’S LAST SUPPER
The artist Firouzeh Durrani is living in Worpswede with her husband Karim during an artist residency. Through contact with a gallery, she hopes to reach a wider audience for her paintings. But Firouzeh’s relationship and art come under pressure when she finds herself at the mercy of her gallery owner’s cultural projections, who has precise ideas about what the art of a female Muslim of Afghan descent should look like.
