Gala Bremer Filmpreis
We are honored to present this year’s Bremer Filmpreis to the legendary director Stephen Frears.
For over 50 years, Frears has significantly shaped and influenced the British film landscape. He moves effortlessly between genres, directs world stars and is celebrated by audiences and critics alike. And at the core of his work and love for the medium is a theme he returns to again and again: the human being as an active being.
As part of the award ceremony and gala, the German premiere of Frears’ latest project, Brian and Maggie, will be shown.
The award ceremony will take place on March 19, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the Theater am Goetheplatz.
