Light, Time & Memories – Innovation Shorts #1
Memories can fade the way a photo film does when it has not received enough light. In order to dig up fragments from the unconscious, we usually require a strong impulse. In this block of short films we are taken on a journey that fuses a place in the past with the present. We are lead into a miniature world that brings us closer to a mother and her tragic reality, and into an inner circle of the self. When the fog lifts and a tender sprout appears from the inner void, the gaze drifts over to the clock and realizes how much energy still remains… Between animation, analogue footage, 360 degree perspectives and stop motions, these films hardly spare any emotions.
