A high school graduate with a planned future, a disoriented volunteer worker, a hitchhiker who has been rejected for a photography degree and a dropout are travelling to Portugal together. What seems to be the perfect summer road trip for Romy, Julian, Nele and Konrad after graduating from high school soon turns out to be a fast-paced journey to find themselves, in search of their own lives, true love and true friendship.
