SANDING DREAMS
Pasha studies rocket science at a prestigious university in St. Petersburg and dreams of space. His professors see him as exceptionally talented and foresee great achievements for him — Pasha is offered the chance to participate in an international internship. Suddenly he receives sad news from home: his mother and younger brother are left alone in their remote hometown village of Shoina, where houses are swallowed by the sand. Pasha needs to go help his family. But can he abandon his dream?
