The scent of the wormwood

Three teenagers living in a remote village in the middle of the Kyrgyz mountains spend their days playing merry games. Each of the teenagers forgets their family problems during these games. But the adult world slowly but inexorably comes upon each of the teenagers – a reality in which fathers fight each other for a place under the sun or get senselessly drunk, and mothers strive for happiness far away, forgetting that they have left behind their only 10-year-old happiness at home. The children anticipate the moment when they will either follow in their parents’ footsteps or have to take completely new paths…
