Elvis and Dermot own a small record shop in the village of Omagh. Threatened with eviction by their scheming landlord, Sadie, they head out on a last-resort road trip to Cork to retrieve a priceless record that could answer all their prayers. If only things can go to plan. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Irish landscape, the story is a celebration of warmth, gentle humour, friendship, and self-discovery. As Dermot struggles with a music career gone awry, Elvis faces his insecurities. During their road trip in a borrowed car that’s older than the hills, the friends encounter a nun, a stripper, a stuffed fox, an angry chicken and new love, ultimately putting their bromance to the test and proving that true friendship is hard to find.
