Could there be a world in which she would have liked to live? A world in which people are not left alone with their problems, in which we would have the time and space to really concern ourselves with the needs of others? A world full of care? The film meets people who have made caring the central focus of their lives. There is the Arnold from Hamburg, who looks after his severely disabled son Nico 24 hours a day and still has the strength to stand up for caring relatives. There is the Polish 24-hour caregiver Bożena, whose life took a serious turn after working in Germany and who now supports others in similar situations in fighting for their rights. Climate activist Amanda, who can no longer stand to see her family’s healthy habitat in Peru destroyed by the climate crisis and who knows that we are only healthy if our planet is too. And wheelchair user Samuel who prefers to spend his nights in the sauna with his friends and is putting together an inclusive house project. They all want to make the world a more loving place. But they painfully realize that caring is anything but easy: while they keep life going every day, they often reach their limits. Their efforts are hardly noticed or appreciated in the public consciousness. But they have had enough: they no longer accept that, in society, there is neither time nor money to be spent on taking good care of each other or themselves. They want everything to change. But how is that supposed to happen?
