Winter of the crow
Warsaw, December 1981: As martial law is imposed, Poland is brought to a sudden standstill. British psychiatry professor Dr. Joan Andrews arrives as a guest lecturer and is thrown into chaos: tanks replace taxis and citizens live under constant repression. Armed with her Polaroid camera, Joan witnesses a brutal murder by the secret police. With the country sealed off, her life is in grave danger. Joined by a young student, she races through the besieged streets of Warsaw to catch the last plane out — hunted by the regime and driven by a growing determination to see justice done.
