Workshop: Inclusive filming

  • 2022

  • Language: German

  • Industry Event

Showtime

Thursday, 16. April - 15:00

Theater Bremen - Kleines Haus

The feature film LUISA is a first of its kind:

a cast of ten actors and actresses, both with and without disabilities.

Using this inclusive project as a case study, the workshop explores how workflows in film productions can be made more accessible. Practical tools that promote inclusion in day-to-day film production, as well as methods (such as check-ins, access readers and set design), will be presented. The LUISA team offers insights into their experiences and key turning points in inclusive work during project development, on set and in the post-production phase.

The workshop begins with a content introduction in plain [german] language. Content is also delivered in plain language throughout the workshop. Care is taken to ensure sufficient breaks. Fidget toys and alternative seating options are provided.

With: Julia Roesler (director), Sophie Arlt (artistic production manager), Melanie Lux (actress), Lina Strothmann (actress), Silke Merzhäuser (producer)
