Accreditation for the 11th Filmfest Bremen

 

 

The accreditation period for the 11th Filmfest Bremen (April 15–19, 2026) begins on March 16. Applications can be submitted until April 12, 2026. Please note that applications received after this date will no longer be processed.

 

 

Accreditation is available to:

Members of the media reporting on the festival (Press Accreditation)
Professionals or students working in the film or cultural sectors (Industry Accreditation)
Detailed information can be found in the Accreditation Guidelines at the bottom of this page.
By presenting your accreditation badge along with a valid photo ID, you can obtain free tickets for all events of the 11th Filmfest Bremen at the box offices of the respective venues. Additionally, the accreditation grants access to the non-public industry program.

 

Fees:

Industry Accreditation: €30 (reduced rate: €25)
Press Accreditation: Free of charge
Payment is made upon collection of your accreditation badge at the Filmfest Counter in Café NOON (Kleines Haus, Theater Bremen).

Guidelines for Accreditation

Accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of journalistic reporting and for industry visitors.

 

Otherwise, the Filmfest Bremen gGmbH, Böttcherstraße 1, 28195 Bremen reserves the right to further verify proof of journalistic activity or activity as industry visitor or proof of training or service.

 

There is no right to accreditation in any of the accreditation categories.

 

A. Accreditation requirement

 

Accreditation requests will only be processed within the official application period. The deadlines will be published on the website of the Filmfest Bremen. Accreditation applications can be sent from 14th February. The submission of an application does not guarantee accreditation. The organizer reserves the right to decide whether to accept or reject an application.

 

B. Press Accreditation

 

Press accreditation can be obtain by those who prove their journalistic activity as follows:

 

By submitting name articles, which are not older than six months at the time of the event.

 

By submitting an imprint in which they are named as editors, permanent editorial staff or authors and which is not older that three months at the time of the event.

 

Through a web link to an online publication that is established in the respective industry community and has an appropriate reach. In individual cases, there may be separate, more detailed accreditation rules for bloggers and a separate status for bloggers.

 

Holders of a valid press card of a domestic or foreign journalists’ association.

 

We would like to point out that the mere presentation of a press card is not automatically sufficient for accreditation. The association reserves the right to request further proof of journalistic activity.

 

C. Industry Accreditation

 

This accreditation can be granted to anyone who can provide proof of current professional activity as a filmmaker or representative of the film industry, cultural institutions or other film festivals.

 

To receive this accreditation, a fee of 30 euros must be paid (reduced 25 euros). Transfer of accreditation is not possible.

 

D. General Terms and Conditions

 

The General Terms and Conditions of the Association as well as the Privacy Policy shall apply in addition. In the event of a conflict between the Accreditation Guidelines and the General Terms and Conditions, the latter shall be prioritized.

 

E.    Data Protection

 

In order to be accredited, it is necessary for us to store personal data. We assure you that we will handle your data confidentially and responsibly. We will use and store the personal data you provide us with in the course of online registration solely for the purpose of processing your application. The data will only be passed on within the company and under no circumstances to third parties.
