THE WERDER SHORTFILM GALA
SV Werder Bremen is celebrating the club’s legendary 125th anniversary in 2024. Together with the club, the Filmfest has launched the short film award “Das Wunder von der Weser” as a separate competition this year. Cinematic declarations of love for Werder were sought.
The best films among the submissions will be presented at the award ceremony on 13.04.24 at 7 pm in the Theater am Goetheplatz. From the nominated films, both the renowned jury from the soccer and film world and the audience will select the winning films. On this evening, the theater hall may feel like a curve, as numerous personalities and companions of the club are expected to attend. The band AFTERBURNER, who will repertoire many a Werder song, as well as Arnd Zeigler with his desk and many a Werder anecdote, will also ensure a good atmosphere. The evening will be hosted by Felix Krömer from “buten un binnen”.
